March 28
We're finally getting a little exposure as we have an album review in this weeks New Haven Advocate. We also have an interview in New Sound magazine. Links to both are right on the home page.

March 27
Clearlight plays out at Billy Baloneys for the first time. The crowd was meager but the people who made it down made the night worthwile. Thanks go out to all that made the drive.

March 12
Clearlight returns to Cafe 9 in New Haven to open for XPUNX. A great time was had by all as we opened the night for the strange sounds to come

February 10 In gear news, I sent back my Line6 X3 live and got a Roland VG99. It is truly a revolutionary piece of equipment and will help to keep us pushing the modern sound envelope.

February 20
Practices are going well and shows are being booked. The CD is finally here in retail form and will be released soon. If you can't wait for the "official" release, drop me an email and we'll get you an early one.

January 12
Played at Cherry Street Station with Sex and Death U.S.A. ......
Despite Some technical problems and some uncooperative gear, a good time was had by most.

January 24
Played at The Space with Planeside and a few others. The show went extremely well. Thanks to all who attended.
In an interesting note, I got to hear Planesides cover of Snoop Dogg's "It ain't no fun if the homies can't get none". Good "values" based music.

2007

December
Practices have resumed and the album s done being mixed. JohnOps slipped back on like OJ's Isotoners.

November
Our drummer search is over. Ironically , our new drummer is our old drummer. THis is no doubt due to the prayers of Pastor Yanchek whose faith is an inspiration to us all.

October
It looks like JohnOps will be moving back so lets see what happens.

September
The drummer search has yielded a few candidates, including Andy from North Hampton. There's also been rumors that Johnops may be moving back to the area. Time will tell where all this will end up! The album is almost done and will be out in a few months, with Dani B (lucid-dreamer.net) will be lending some of her tremendous art skills to the CD.

AUG 4
Clearlight, Tobacco and Holiday Rain at Cherry Street Station. Our first show went well and our new drummer came through with flying colors. We even did "Siren" for an encore.

AUG 18
WE played the Webster with Ian on Drums and it went quite well. WE have the show on video so I,ll post a few songs sometime soon.

AUG 20
We're back on the drummer search as Ian has too much going on to commit a large amount of time to the band. If you know a drummer, drop an email!

July was an eventful month as Chris got a hold of the final album mixes for mastering. John got his new bass rig which consists of an Ampeg head and a 4x10 plus horn for a a bass cabinet. The first show is on saturday August 4th at Cherry Street Station with Tobacco Juice and Holiday Rain. Hope to see some of you there.

June
The practices with the new drummer (Ian) are going well and we should be show ready in a few weeks. Check back show dates and album info.

In other news John Y is on the verge of a new bass rig which will give the band the fat bass sound it deserves. See you soon,

MAY
The album is mixed and ready for mastering. We also found a new drummer. We'd like to welcome Ian to the band and hope he sticks around for the long haul.

The band has spent the last 9 months finishing up on the album and looking for a drumer to replace Jon Ops who left the band for personal reasons. The album is being produced by Chris Loin and mixed by local engineering wizard Mike Arafeh. The album should be ready for release soon and there will be an album release party to celebrate. A new website will also follow. We will be making the rounds at night clubs as son as we find a drummer. Hope to see you all soon.
